This morning it was a bit cloudy so I wanted to take advantage and get some shots since it has been pretty hot in NYC. So we went for a drive close by and went to visit the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum out in Pelham Bay, NY. Unfortunately the museum itself was closed due to renovations but the garden was open and I was able to get a few shots of Leyla in her outfit today.
Today she is wearing a dress by Rochy from A/W 2014 called "Vestido Flor" which is currently available in the outlet. I love the contradiction of patterns (stripes and flowers) between the top and the skirt of the dress. Fall colors such as pink, beige and plum blend in perfectly in this dress. Pair it with a plum cardigan and tights in colder weather and this dress will pop. Her wreath is by Maniere and it is amazing! It is well made and sturdy. It's made of suede flowers and the headband itself has fine teeth for a better grip. Leyla loved it so much she didn't want to take it off. She thought she was a princess. It is available in many colors and it's perfect for up coming fall.
Here are some pictures of Leyla today. She reminded me of a garden fairy. Just lovely.
