Pierrot La Lune.

I wanted to apologize for not being in touch these last couple of days but Leyla has been sick this pass week along with my husband. It has been hectic tending to them and my job that I haven't had time to post anything! However, today Leyla was feeling much better and I was able to get some pictures of her wearing a dress by Pierrot la Lune. This is the first Pierrot la Lune dress I purchased from Carousel NY called Meera. It's currently on sale since it is part of the S/S 2015 collection. I love the simplicity and femininity of the design. The Indian block print seems like a ode to Danish china and the signature collar is playful.

Pierrot la Lune is fairly new Danish brand that was created in 2013 by Emilie Ventujol. Her goal was to create timeless, playful yet informal children's wear using 100% fairtrade organic fabrics. She draws inspiration for her prints from India which she spent numerous years. For A/W 2015 collection, I love the concentration of blue and burgundy tones along with plaids. It is truly a gorgeous collection. Here are some of my favorites from the collection but you can see the full collection here.

It was a bit chilly in the AM so I paired the Meera dress with a handmade sweater and bonnet made by one of my aunts, isn't she talented?! Her socks are by Condor and she is wearing gray canvas mary janes by Neck & Neck. If I could have found blue knee highs to match the dress, I think I would have liked it more then the cream color. What do you guys think?
