Yesterday we went into the city for my father's anniversary mass. He passed away 6 years ago and no matter how much time passes it will always feel like it happened yesterday. Ever since Leyla was born it becomes even harder not to think of him since I wonder what he would have thought of her, how he would have interacted with her and all the hugs and kisses Leyla would have given him. Where ever he might be I know Leyla has a angel watching over her.
For mass, Leyla wore a beautiful classic dress by the Spanish brand Yoedu. Yoedu was established in 1994 with the idea of creating classic and cheerful designs. Their designs vary from classic solid pieces to bright floral prints. The dress Leyla specifically wore was a lucky win. One of my favorite shops, Kerubins Baby Boutique which specializes in Spanish children's wear, was having a appreciation contest for their followers and we got lucky and won! The dress has a timeless cut and the lightweight fabric has very thin blue and white stripes. The final touches of beige lace trim and the grosgrain bow make this dress pop. Yesterday, as we were walking through the city, people were looking at Leyla. They seem fascinated with her classic style. I paired the dress with a pair of baby blue anklet socks from Condor available at Baby Spain and beige patent mary janes by the Spanish brand DAR2 which I was able to find on MyHabit.com. Lastly, she is wore a champagne hair bow by Lazitos. This dress is still currently available at Kerubins and its on sale! So hurry!
Happy Euro Shopping.
