Sisters B2B Wholesalers.

Through this blog I meet many wonderful people who share the same love that I have for European children's wear one of them being Elena, co-owner of Sisters B2B, a wholesale company which specializes in bringing beautiful gorgeous brands from Spain into the US market. Being one of the first wholesale companies that specializes in children's clothing from Spain, I wanted to get to know them a little more so I was able to get a interview!

So tell us a little about Sisters B2B.

Sisters B2B was founded in 2014 by two sisters, one living in the US and one living in Spain, who realized the potential of Spanish brands in America and the little presence they had in such a large market. Since we were looking to start a new company, we decided to focus on filling this gap by helping Spanish children's wear companies expand in the US.

What do you believe makes children’s wear from Spain different?

A combination of a centuries-old expertise in clothing manufacturing with the trendiest, most advance designs using the highest quality fabrics.

I love seeing these beautiful brands from Spain finally hit the US market, do you believe they will be successful here?

Yes, that's why we started our company. We truly believe Spanish brands are underrepresented in the US market and their value proposition (superb quality, excellent finishes and innovative design) is exactly what most American consumers are looking for and cannot find within the current offering.

What are some of the brands from Spain that you work with? Any favorites?

Some of our clients are Barcarola Moda Infantil, J.V. José Varón, Creaciones Alves, Belan Moda, León Shoes, Kiriki Moda Infantil, Paz Rodríguez, and Cóndor Moda. Picking a favorite among them would be like picking you favorite child. We love them equally!! Each of the brands we represent brings something different and they really complement each other.

What trends are we seeing in the A/W 2015 collections ?

We see casual but elegant looks, with some romantic and fairytale twists. Abundance of different use of fabrics, including velvet, tulles, brocades, neoprene, and some "green" materials following an environmentally responsible trend. Talking about colors of the season, Marsala would be the big winner, followed by a range of greys, pinks, blues and some reds.

What are the most rewarding and challenging aspects of your job?

We are extremely proud of being able to promote "Brand Spain” (Marca España) and help fellow companies from our country succeed in such a competitive market as the US is. It comes with a few challenges, mostly in terms of the logistical constrains of shipping internationally, but nothing that cannot be overcome with good planing and support by Sisters B2B. We are a comprehensive, full service provider for clothing stores, from new season promotion to timely delivery of every other.

How can shops get in touch to inquire about wholesale possibilities?

They can contact us at www.sistersb2b.com, email us at sistersb2b@sistersb2b.com or call us directly at +1-630-456-3923.

Any advice to parents when it comes to children’s fashion?

Just think of what your children really like and let their clothes express their personalities. Do not overthink it or stress about whether this piece will match that one. They are children so go with your gut and feel free to mix and match styles and patterns as loosely as they would.
